LHSG was founded by, and continues to be home to,  a group of inter-denominational Christian parents united by a statement of faith, a mission and desire to honour our Lord in our conduct (Phil. 1:27) as we educate our children in our home and enjoy activities and events with others outside of our homes. Your active contribution through participation and coordination of activities and events for the members of LHSG, and forwarding homeschooling/community information will be a definitive key to our group's success as a support and encouragement to membership. Every homeschooling family’s individuality and confidentiality should be protected, everyone attending a homeschool field trip/activity should be safe, and the integrity of homeschooling in our community requires our commitment to conscientious behaviour.  LHSG guidelines are intended to protect our members, not to exclude current or potential membership.  We're glad you've joined our group electronically; please understand your participation and contribution  in our google group and group-sponsored activities indicates your tacit awareness and intention to respect and uphold LHSG's values systems, and your intention to uphold membership responsibilities.   You're welcome to invite homeschooling friends to  apply to join our google group.  While membership to LHSG is free, certain activities within this group may involve cost.
